Lake Habema is located at the foot of Mount Trikora in Jayawijaya Regency, Papua. The original name of this lake is Lake Yuginopa. The word Habema comes from Lieutenant Habema, a Dutch officer who escorted the journey to the top of Trikora in 1909.

Located at an altitude of about 3300 meters above sea level and often referred to as a lake in the clouds, the beautiful view of Lake Habema makes us as if we were not in Indonesia.
